Baby Braden :)

I just had to post these pictures to remember them. I'm so amazed by technology today, seeing these pictures has just been so exciting, even Brooklyn can point out baby's nose..eyes, lips, and fingers. It's getting us all pretty excited to meet him! At our last ultrasound he was measuring a bit big so hopefully that means he gets to meet us a little early!

Two new posts below!

There are two new fun posts below...Check them out!!!! :)

Halloween :)

So obviously I'm getting pretty bad at posting these days, I feel baby for this little boy because he's SO not getting the attention Brooklyn got :) well, we had a great Halloween and have been doing great. I'm 29 weeks pregnant, which means for me that I'll have my baby in 10 weeks..if not earlier because my doctor won't let me go past 39 weeks YAY. I've been feeling great for the most part, just growing...could be the Halloween candy though.

For Halloween we went to my mom and Dad's ward Trunk or Treat then visited some friends/family out there, Brooklyn was SO cute, she actually said trick or treat a couple times, she mostly said "HELLO" though which for her is a big step since she's usually pretty shy. I cannot believe that my little girl is already a year and a half old! WHERE has time gone! She is such a goofball and I love her! She makes my day/night! The other night at about 5 she came walking into my room and right up to me so I picked her up to bring her back to bed and she just hugged me then said momma....I said what Brookie, then she told me I love you. SO SO cute. I am learning though that as a parent I can understand all of her little "words" but I don't know if anyone else would. She LOVES to make funny faces and they sure are funny. I'm so excited to have our little boy join our crazy house!

Here are our pictures from lately, enjoy! p.s. ignore the sideways pictures, I have NO idea why it's doing that but I can't get them changed for some reason :(

Did I mention that one time we went to YELLOWSTONE

Well, we got real ambitious one day and went on a little vacation! David had to go to Pocatello for some work and ended up not having to work the whole week so he decided it was time for a family vacation. It was pretty interesting to see all the sights, the winding roads were not my favorite being pregnant/sick and Brooklyn did surprisingly well for the long ride. We had fun and it was a great  vacation! We planned it a little bit last minute so of course there were no "cheap" places to stay so we ended up staying in a cabin at the KOA camp, which I have to admit was not bad at all, and the price was just right! We saw a TON of wildlife, and the only thing I didn't get to see was a moose, DARN, next time!

We're HAVING a..........BOY

So, we went in to our appointment yesterday and it was an experience :) Brooklyn was supposed to stay with a babysitter, but had an AWFUL night and we didn't want to do that to anyone so we took her with us. BAD IDEA. she screamed at the doctors office for the first oh 20 minutes, so David had to take her outside to calm her down so when they finally came back in she was happy again (sort of) so we saved the "good part" for him. However, the tech tried to be really sneaky when she ran over the "parts" the first time so I wouldn't see, but I totally saw and giggled. Then when David came in she said, "it's definitely a boy" YAY. We couldn't be happier, our little family will be perfect now, I'm pretty excited. He was not an active baby at all, his mannerisms are already so different than Brooklyn's. She was so wiggly and mobile when we did her ultrasound, she yawned, had hiccups, and stretched out so big for us. Little Brother moved but his movements were just little, no big stretches, and he's in a bad position to really get good pictures of him, SAD. He was SO stretched out all over in there while Brooklyn was folded with her legs above her head playing with her feet all the time. Maybe his "mild mannerisms" will last and he'll just be my timid baby, NO complaints if that's the case! Well, for viewing pleasure here are a few pictures of our little guy.

Brooklyn- Lots of words :)-Really big Post

I just had to post this on here for my own personal record. Brooklyn is SO cute right now, she is learning so much everyday! I'm amazed at the things she picks up from one day to the next. I'll just do a list of all the fun things she knows right now:
p.s. don't forget to check out the videos at the end
Sounds:
Monkey-uses her arms to do this one
Sheep
Chicken-she uses her hands for this one too
Dog-sort of, meows for dogs most of the time
Cat
Dinosaur (and anything that Rawrs)- this one is so cute, she does hand motions for it too
Cow
Car/vehicle- sounds like BBBBBBB, drives around her toy cars while making these noises, anytime she sees a steering wheel she starts making the noise, "drove a boat" the other day

Words:
mama
Daddy-says it like daddeeeee
Papa
Grandma-only has said it once sounds like gmama
I love you-sounds like lalulu-mosltly just ticks her tounge out and makes the sound of I love you
apple
cow-sounds like ca
dog
Juice
More-said while using her sign language for more
Eat-said while pointing to her mouth
outside-sounds like "side"
that one-sounds like dem-used at everything she wants
hotdog
Night night
Bye-While waving
Hi-while waving
baby-sounds like bebe
Barney-sounds like benee- she LOVES barney
No no-always says it three times in a row like nonono
yes-sounds like da- and she nods her head
-I'm sure there are more, but I can't think of them all right now

Things she knows how to do that are not so fun!
Open Doors- NOT fun
Open Cupboards- NOT FUN
Open DVD player and Wii- uses this when she wants to watch Barney she goes and pushes the buttons to let me know what she wants, removed the dvd and puts it back in.
Climb ladders- This was discovered while we were playing in the yard she was trying to get into the Pool- SCARY on 8/10 she learned how to climb a ladder and go down a slide!
Get in the toilet-and flush it
Hit- we have told her not to hit people enough that now she just hits herself!
Once again there are so many more, but these are the ones we don't love!

Things Brookie loves to do:
Dance! she dances in place, twirls, and one day told me that I couldn't dance with her because that was for NANA- I asked her to dance dance and she looked at me and said NANA, like No mom I only dance for nana!
Read-she has this book that has a "ball" in it and instead of pointing to the ball she KICKS it, SO cute
Play with Dad-Whenever he walks in the door she greets him with a dadddeee and then makes him play with her
Eat- this is a great thing, she will eat so well for us, unless we're in public then she is TOO busy to eat
Get horse rides-she will come up to me pick up my leg and climb on and then jump like I'm ready mom
Be outside! her favorite thing to do is to SWING
Play with her baby- I started babysitting and she loves the baby
Put shoes on- anyones who get laid down get tried on
Squeal at nana- This is the cutest thing!
Be chased- if someone walks in the door she runs from them because she thinks they'll chase her
Blankies-she grabs them all day and cuddles with them
Teddy bears/Stuffed animals-these get kisses and cuddles throughout the day
Give kisses- mostly to other kids, and ONLY on the mouth, it's funny
Play with her cousin-she loves her Stella, and whenever she sees her they give big kisses, they also have this little game they have when sitting in the car seat next to each other- if one touches the others car seat they scream and swat their hand away. Seems like a mean thing but it's their game.
Swimming- she didn't at first but now she loves to swim
Papa-She love both of her Papa's and I get to hear how much everyday. She says papa all day long!
Nana- She loves Nana and knows that she is for playing and dancing! When she is reminded of nana, like by dancing she starts squealing and says Nana.
mama- she's very attached to Mama right now, only mama can calm her down if she's hurt or sad, I don't always love it, but mostly I do, because that's the only time she cuddles with me.
Aunts and Uncles- She LOVES when they come play with her, she gets so excited, loves her Uncle Cody and teases him tons, Loves aunt Cyndi because she brings Stella over, and Loves aunt laura because she plays with her, and gives her food! She loves all of her family, and knows who they all are even if we haven't seen them in a while.
Storms- we learned this the other day during a terrible storm we had, she ran through the rain and screamed when we brought her inside!
Balls-kicks and tosses around balls, surprisingly she doesn't throw other things, she knows that's what balls are for, and she doesn't really throw them that often just pushes them around
Tomatoes-Would eat them like apples if we would let her!

She is such a fun girl, I love to see how much she is growing, and see her little personality come out, she's going to keep us on our toes because she's a VERY adventurous child. She takes off if you let her and doesn't even look back. She's a very sweet baby and pretends to be shy at first, and some days is shy toward people but after a minute she warms up to everyone. Brooklyn We love you!!!!!

About time for an update :)

So this past weekend has just been so much fun, David is the BEST daddy to our little girl, and we got to celebrate him. I also have the best DAD who I couldn't have asked for a better person to have raised me, him and my mom mean so much to me. They are seriously the cutest Grandparents too, Brooklyn just waves bye to me when my Dad is holding her, and she LOVES to squeal with Grammy. I have also been blessed with a wonderful Dad-in law. David's dad is so great with Brooke, she loves him and loves playing with him. We celebrated with both families and that means we ate LOTS of great food! I got David a pair of binoculars for his birthday/Father's day, he seems to like them, hopefully they work great for him!

Last week on Thursday David got a phone call at 7 in the morning saying that he needed to be in Utah by 8 the next morning and so Brooklyn and I decided to go with him! I was a bit nervous about taking such a quick up and down trip but it actually turned out not to be so bad, Brooklyn traveled pretty well, which I am so grateful for! We went shopping and in this mall they had a little play area where Brooklyn had SO much fun. They had a slide there that was super inclined and Brooklyn insisted on climbing UP the slide, I was pretty impressed that she figured that out. She was such a happy girl, and loved playing on all the things and meeting new buddies.

Finally, I get to our surprise! We are expecting a BABY. I found out a few months ago but wanted to wait and tell the news, I'm super impatient when it comes to these kind of things so I had to try REAL hard to keep it a secret, well I'm 10 weeks and we just barely told, I consider that an accomplishment! We are super excited/nervous. I'm pretty excited because I'm due almost two weeks after my sister in law, and about a month after my sister! YAY. So has anyone had experience with the INTELLIGENDER product? We tried it and e-mailed my results to them and they replied pretty instantly and "read" my results. So at this point the result is BOY. we would be pretty excited if that turns out to be true, however a girl would be great too since we already have everything GIRL. Either way we are so super excited.

Happy Birthday Baby

My baby turned ONE. Can you believe it because I CAN'T. She has been such a joy and a blessing to our little family. I love her more than words could ever express! She changes and grows daily, every day. She loves to give us attention, and to tease us, her little personality is SO FUNNY. The other morning she woke up and gave David a kiss, then leaned right over and gave me a kiss, it was the cutest thing. She is WALKING everywhere! Can't keep up with her anymore and I LOVE it. All of a sudden she is SO curious about opening doors, cupboards, and drawers. She hides binkies all around the house, I have NO idea where they are. She is quite the CLIMBER, she climbs all over EVERYTHING. She LOVES to be OUTSIDE and if I would let her that's where she would be all the time. She LOVES her daddy and when he gets home she gets so excited and runs around the house making him chase her! SO SO cute.

I just don't know what I would do without my sweet baby, she has such a goofy personality and things she's so smart every time she does something, like make a toy work. She has a special bond with me, mostly because I'm home with her all day. She is afraid of strangers, and anyone who she doesn't see on a regular basis, and it takes her a little while to get comfortable enough to go to others. She LOVES David, and knows that Daddy is for playing with, mommy is for comforting. She has SO many bruises on her legs from walking/running, it's so cute and yet so sad. She has 8 teeth!! Two of them are top molars which were NOT fun when they were breaking through. I just LOVE and cherish being home with her, there are hard days, and some challenging times, but overall I just couldn't imagine having her go to a daycare. I am so fortunate that David works so hard for us and that Brooklyn is SUCH a good girl. I LOVE my little family.

For her B-day party we went to the park, we had family and friends there and we had a blast. She was spoiled and for the whole part of opening presents all she wanted was to read her book she got! She Loves Books. She also got a v-tech turtle thing that you climb on and it sings and when we set that up for her she loved to crawl up and ride the turtle. She gets so proud when she figures out how to turn on the buttons to make the turtle sing, she has this super cheesy grin that is Ultra cheesy because of the gap in her teeth. She LOVED her cake...after she realized it was ok to destroy it. I found out that Albertson's gives away a free cake for Baby's first b-day, HECK YES. It was a good party, the weather was a little cold but overall it was a good time.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY!

On another note Brookie and I were lucky enough to get pictures done with a great photographer you can see herhere. She did some pictures for Brooklyn's first b-day and since David couldn't make it I got to be part of the wonderful pictures, we had a good time, and I LOVE the pictures she did for us!
