Six months...can you believe it!

So my little princess turned six months old...I just cannot believe it. She is just changing every day, she is such a happy baby I couldn't ask for anything better! We went to her doctor the other day and he was saying that at this age is when they start to get stranger anxiety, not Brooklyn. As the doctor was saying this about her getting stranger anxiety she was laughing and smiling at him! He was surprised, not us, I swear she likes other people more than us sometimes. She is such a flirt, anytime we go anywhere she smiles at anyone who walks by. She knows no stranger.

6 month stats:

Weight: 16.4lbs-40th percentile
Height: 26 1/2 inches 75th percentile

She still REALLY hates the car seat. We went on a trip to Pocatello and she did not enjoy the ride down one bit, lucky for us she slept almost the whole way home.

She is quite a talker..she babbles at us all the time, especially in the morning time. She started saying Ba ba ba and loves to talk to her dad.

She sits up all by herself really well now, unless she sees something she wants then she dives for it and sometimes crashes.

She LOVES to eat, so far she has enjoyed everything we have tried....except chicken. Hopefully she will like real chicken because we eat a lot of chicken.

She is still not sleeping through the night, I have no idea what to do, we've tried "scheduling" naps, and feeding times. She wakes up to eat at about 2-3 every night. And she whines a couple times for her paci. I just hope she grows out of it. It's not too bad I suppose.

We just love this little girl and the sweet spirit she is in our home. She is her daddy's little girl all the way, but she is my princess. I feel so lucky to be able to stay home with her and watch her grow and change. I am so grateful for my husband and family and all they do to support us and the love they give Brooklyn.

I decided to do a little mini photo shoot with Brooklyn, she's so fun to take pictures of!

by the end of this she was so angry at me! But she's so darn cute!!!

Happy Halloween..a little late

For Brooklyn Halloween was just another day :) she dressed up as a little bee and went and saw her Grandpa and grandma Bennett. We met them in Nyssa to see my dad's mom at the assisted living where she is staying, all the people gather in their foyer and hand out candy to all the trick-or-treaters that come in. Brooklyn and Stella had them all going. They were flirting/smiling at everyone and everybody just thought they were so cute. After that we went to my parents house and had pizza and saw some trick-or treaters. It was a good time.
