Back Yard Adventure

Our holiday started out a little early with me having surgery on my ankle, It was supposed to be not very invasive but well, that's what it turned into. Then we had a little BBQ/pool party with all of David's family. It was a lot of fun and a little exhausting! Our porch turned out so wonderful and it was perfect for our party! We love our back yard so much now!




This is right after we filled the pool it was FREEZING! He was the brave one!

The Kids had such a great time playing in the pool! Who knows what Jade is showing us her foot for! We really enjoyed watching them and we only had one get injured!!! That has to be a pretty good record. Man the hot tub was so yucky after the kids kept getting in and out with all their sunscreens! we ended up having to drain it! It was totally worth it though!

YARD WORK

So David has been doing a project in our yard and I'm trying to clean up our house. David poured me a really nice deck, him and his brother and dad all worked on it one weekend and it totally rocks!!! So Katherine came over to check it out and we got some cute pictures of Jacob he was so cute holding his little book! We had a lot of fun and the guys worked so hard. David sun-burnt his back so bad, I felt bad for him. The porch turned out so great and I totally love it, I'll post some more pictures when we get EVERYTHING done. Also, I have some pictures of some beautiful flowers David got for me. He is s sweet guy.

Father's day

For Father's day weekend we had a great time, there were many things going on. We went to my grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary party and for the first time in YEARS all of my family was together, it was a lot of fun to see people I hadn't seen in a long time. David got to meet a whole new side of the family and that was fun as well. We celebrated David's Dad's Birthday and Father's day at a family barbecue which was also a lot of fun. Memorial day fun

We had a very fun memorial day weekend, We spent time with both families! Shanon came home for the weekend so we went to the Wheeler's and the boys shot guns and the girls and kids played sing star and Guitar Hero! It was pretty fun, but you can see for yourself!
