Catch up....

So, to say the last few months have been busy is a complete understatement. With traveling, sick kids, and a couple holidays we've been busy busy busy. So I'll do a few catch up posts and hope that it works for record keeping :) Warning- there are LOTS of pictures....you've been warned!

To Start- Halloween, it was so much fun this year, we went home to Nana & Papa's house to see them and have an early Halloween with my family. Brooklyn was a princess, and Braden the frog. We went to a carnival in Adrian and despite the cold I think the kids had a good time. Over that weekend Braden visited the ER for the first time, he ended up having croup. Scary night. When the kids and I got home we took them trick or treating. Brooklyn LOVED it this year, she thought it was pretty fun to ring the doorbells, and to get candy, of course what kid wouldn't (ok and adults too).

Next up on the list of things we did was SICKNESS- I HAVE to include this picture of Brookie being sick, she was SO miserable!!! It was pretty sad to see her so sick and "down".

What do we have next.....Thanksgiving, that was so much fun, we were able to go and spend the holiday with My family again. Brooklyn had a good time, and Braden LOVED the food. He's quite the eater. While we were home Braden boy perfected his "SERIOUS" face. Brooklyn did the same thing as a baby and it's hilarious to see Braden doing the same thing. Funny kids! Our festivities in pictures.

Last we have our Christmas planning/preparing, and most favorite- DECORATING. Brooklyn has been very excited about Christmas this year. Although, she has informed us that "I don't like Santa Claus", and when she's mad she even says "I don't like Christmas"....but she sure has had fun preparing our home for the Christmas, and she has recently told "Santa" that she wants a baby doll for Christmas- too bad Santa thought he was done shopping! Braden thinks it is just about the most fun thing EVER to go behind the tree and unplug our lights, he does this and then laughs when you pull him out...and proceeds to crawl as fast as can be right back under the tree! Stinker. I want to end on a note that I LOVE my kids, they seriously make me so happy, and make me laugh daily. I also want to say how much I love my family- they are so good to us, and my children LOVE them...so much. Last, I want to say how much I love my husband...we celebrated our FIVE year anniversary this year, and I just can't even believe it! FIVE YEARS...and looking forward to an eternity of happiness with him. He is so good to me!  Enjoy

Just us :)

Well- I could do a catch up post...but that's a lot to catch up on :) instead I'll share a few of my favorite pictures and some pictures of the new house we're living in. If you didn't already know- our little family moved to Pocatello, Idaho. David got a job offer here and we packed up and came. We're liking our house and so far (3 days) it's been busy busy busy. Hopefully we all get adjusted soon and get back on a normal schedule. waking up at 5:30 after going to bed late is NOT too fun for me. Brooklyn is such a night owl. :) Enjoy the pictures of my babes and the house.

Time keeps passing by!

Well, I have neglected this old blog again! I have a little time now and thought I would write a little about my little crazies.

Braden- He's just a great boy, he's so sweet, hardly cries, and is just a happy boy. He is trying SO hard to crawl, and after a few minutes of trying just gets so frustrated with his little body. He is getting So big- up to 20lbs now. He has so many little fat rolls, and I LOVE them. The other day I let him have the spatula after eating some brownies, oh my goodness he was hilarious, he just went after that thing. We also ventured to the fair the other day, he was having a great time...then he fell asleep.

Brooklyn-She is just such a sweet heart. She loves to be a big helper (sometimes too much). She LOVES her little brother so much, and if someone tries to touch him they'll hear about it! She recently got done with swimming lessons. She did fairly well, she isn't a big fan of putting her head under water, but from day one to the end she progressively got more comfortable with it. When we went to the Malheur County fair the other day she had such a good time looking at all the animals- then she got to ride her first ever fair ride. She loved it, and because she wasn't tall enough to ride alone her nana got to ride too. Brooklyn picked the "car" they got to ride on and she picked the firetruck. She wouldn't stay sitting down she just wanted to dance and play. I loved seeing the look on her little face. She has been saying some hilarious things... just a few examples...all in her saddest/softest voice, "I'm not going potty ANYMORE, because nana help you" " I not goin' potty at the lake ANYMORE". "we don't show people my bum". "Kitty, be nice or I spank you bum" "Braden, you ok, Brookie here".

I LOVE my kids. They are so much fun to be with- even when they're driving me crazy. I love to watch them grow and learn, Love to see their little personalities. Now enjoy a few pictures of my little loves!

First off, WOW, I am the worst blogger...I have so many things that I can/should blog about..and yet I never do!
So I'm going to start this one and make a little post on each kid, and what I love, then I'll post about what we've been up to this summer! LOTS of pictures to be included :)

Braden- 6months - 28 inches, 19 pounds (80th percentile for each)- head circumfrence I can't remember except 90th percentile!

Oh what a fun time this is with our little (big) guy! I seriously think that I was blessed with the worlds best children...but I also may be biased. Braden is such a happy baby, he is pretty content to just play most of the time, all by himself. He LOVES- and I mean LOVES his sister, he thinks it's hilarious when she jumps around in front of him, which then makes him bust out into the cutest belly laughs you've ever heard. He gets around everywhere by crawling backward, rolling, or scooting. He pretty much NEVER cries- in fact we were somewhere the other day and he cried because he was hungry, this is usually the only time he cries, and my grandma actually said, "is that Braden?" I don't think I've ever heard him cry. It's true, I'm spoiled...although he doesn't sleep through the night, but he is the happiest baby I can't complain too much. Braden is probably the biggest flirt ever, he loves people, and loves to grab faces. When he's done playing all you have to do is swaddle him up and he's content to either go to sleep, or just lay there all bundled up. He acquired a love for blankets from his sister (and mom). ;Wow, what else can I say, I love my little guy so much!

Brooklyn- 2 years, 26 pounds, and 30something inches. She was 65% height, and 50 percent for weight

Brookie, Brookie, what a fun fun age this is! I love to watch her learn, play, and explore everyday. She is talking so much right now, she is so much fun. We recently got her ears pierced and she makes sure to tell anyone that she sees about her new earrings, and  "Brookie so beautiful". She loves to sing..and turns everything into a song. She is always moving, and never wants to stop. She LOVES to be outside, pretty much she would live outside as long as she had her blanket and some stuffed animals. From the moment she wakes up to when she goes to bed, she is constantly asking me to "go outside". She is in love with her brother, and happens to be VERY possessive of him. Anytime she has been asleep, or away from the room she comes back and asks "where Braden boy?" this is followed by a round of giggles and her tickling him. If anyone other than my David, my parents, or me try and hold Braden, Brookie will yell at you, and cry saying "no hold my brother," or "that my Braden boy". She is HILARIOUS about the pacifier. Brookie gave her paci to the baby calf right after she turned 2, so she's been having some issues with that. I will find her in random places of the house silently sucking on her brother's pacifier. I told David it's like she's an alcoholic that is SAVORING the taste..she will just lay there in complete bliss with his pacifier. She has the cutest curls, which are crazy most days, every morning I ask, do you want a ponytail, to which she replies, "no, I wan curly hair". She is starting to be really careful when she colors...when she isn't eating the crayons. She tries to make small lines and scribbles instead of coloring all over the pages. She loves to have her hand traced and tries so hard to do it herself. I wish I could post all of the fun things that she says for us, she's got such a goofy personality. Brooklyn is a very loving girl, she will randomly come up during the day and hug or kiss me. I love it! I love having a little buddy to play with daily, and I think she likes me too. We recently caught a caterpillar for Brooklyn, and then my mom got her a pet frog. She thinks all animals/creatures are just so much fun. She has some pet kitties that she carries around by the throat, why they let her I don't know. Brooklyn's caterpillar died the other day, and when talking about it she will tell you, "my cat-a-pillar went to heaven...he talking Jesus". She loves to pray, and anytime someone is saying a prayer Brooklyn is whispering her own prayer. Brookie is VERY shy when she gets put into a new situation. She will take a very long time to warm up to other kids/adults. She HATES water over her head/eyes...but loves the swimming pool. She loves slides/swings/ and all other play equipment. She is in love with her dad, and looks out the window anytime she hears a vehicle outside thinking that it's her daddy. We love this little girl so much! I can't imagine how quiet my house would be without her.

As for me, I've been busy trying to keep up with these two kids, and see my sweet husband when he has time for us. I have been playing with my new camera, and my new photoshop...so that keeps me semi busy when the kids aren't. I have also gotten started making hair bows again, that has been fun! I recently dyed my hair with some red/blonde etc. We have been having a fun summer for sure!
